L’insolite Espace Gourmand
Inspired by locally sourced food and original recipes, L’INSOLITE – Espace gourmand is a place where guests feel welcome and can indulge in delicious dishes. Situated in the eastern part of the city, the goal was to create an experience worthy of being a destination, drawing inspiration from the local community and surrounding areas. The objective was to establish a brand with personality that takes food seriously while also incorporating a touch of fun and a naive sense of humor to encourage guests to relax.
For the main stationery, I proposed a minimal black and white design. A friendly secondary color palette adds brightness and warmth, which is reflected in printed materials and interior details throughout the space.
To further support the brand, I also designed a key element: The Stadium and its distinctive inclined Tower, which represents one of Montréal’s most iconic buildings. This symbol has gained significant popularity and can be used independently for merchandising purposes.
The brand extends far beyond its logo, presenting a new space where gastronomy intersects with an urban and eclectic lifestyle.
For the interior decoration, I opted for a concept featuring expressive stock photographs in black and white, accentuated by a splash of color to highlight each unique element. The outcome is a collage manifested in printed materials and interior details throughout the space.
